Rafael Câmara of Invicta Racing was declared the winner of the Baku Feature Race 2 in Baku, Azerbaijan after Alexander Dunne, first across the line, was given a five-second penalty for crossing the white line at pit entry. Nikola Tsolov charged from 11th on the grid to second for Campos Racing, with Dunne classified third (FIA Formula 2 report).
How it was won
Polesitter Martinius Stenshorne led away ahead of Rodin teammate Dunne and Câmara. An early Safety Car came out for John Bennett’s spin and Rafael Villagómez stopping at Turn 1. The race was decided by pit timing around two Virtual Safety Cars: Rodin called Dunne in just before the first VSC, which was triggered by Ritomo Miyata’s stopped Hitech. Stenshorne pitted under green moments before a second VSC for Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak’s stopped ART, and that left Dunne in the effective lead.
Câmara ran long on his starting tyres, pitted on Lap 11, and briefly took the lead before Dunne, with his tyres already warm, re-passed him into Turn 1. Once Dunne was told about his penalty, he pushed to build a five-second buffer. Invicta radioed Câmara that it was happy for him to stay behind (FIA Formula 2; Formula Scout).
Tsolov was the fastest car late on. He passed Stenshorne for third, brushed the wall, and was within DRS range of Câmara on the final laps as the top three ran inside two seconds. Dunne crossed the line first but was classified third once the penalty was applied, which handed Câmara his third win of 2026.

With both feature races worth full points, Baku became a turning point in the championship. Câmara leaves with a seven-point lead, and the top three are within 18 points with two rounds left.
