Texas’s premier domestic Superbike weekend delivered two different winners on the 3.41-mile COTA Grand Prix layout: Cameron Beaubier (Warhorse HSBK Ducati FLo4Law) took Race 1 on Saturday, and Bobby Fong (Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha) won Race 2 on Sunday.
How it was won
Race 1 (Saturday)
Beaubier — returning after a four-month layoff from a Road America crash — passed Cameron Petersen (Wrench Motorcycles Ducati) on the final lap of the 12-lap sprint and won by 0.862s. Fong completed the podium. Official timing: MOV 0.862; best lap Petersen 2:08.284.
Andrew Lee (Real Steel Honda) wrapped the 2026 Superbike Cup title with his class win Saturday.
Race 2 (Sunday)
Petersen led nine of 12 laps and set a 2:08.060 best lap, but Fong hunted him down and led the final two laps to win by 1.006s. Championship leader Sean Dylan Kelly (OrangeCat BMW) was third; Beaubier fourth; JD Beach fifth after a Race 1 DNF. Lee swept Superbike Cup class wins.

History & significance
COTA remains MotoAmerica’s Texas flagship — the same Grade 1 venue that hosts MotoGP and Formula 1 U.S. rounds. Beaubier’s comeback win and Fong’s title-cut result set up a four-rider championship fight into New Jersey.
