Ireland’s Conor Shanahan won the Grand Finale for a third time at Warsaw’s National Stadium, while Poland’s Paweł Korpuliński finished second in the event and clinched his first Drift Masters championship in front of a reported 55,000 fans.
How it was won
Three title contenders entered the final day: points leader Piotr Więcek, Korpuliński, and Shanahan. Top qualifier James Deane advanced deep into the bracket. Więcek’s title bid ended in the Top 16 when a judged decision went to Jarkko Jylhä, locking Więcek on 468 season points.
Korpuliński beat fellow Pole Jakub Król in the Great 8 to mathematically secure the championship (even a Shanahan event win could not overhaul him). Shanahan then defeated Deane in a One More Time semi and beat Korpuliński in the final after the new champion tagged the wall in Outside Zone 4 on the chase. Deane took third over Duane McKeever.

History & significance
Warsaw’s stadium finale has become Drift Masters’ signature night. Shanahan’s third Grand Finale win there underlined his PGE Narodowy form; Korpuliński’s home title — after prior round wins including Mondello and Riga in his breakthrough season — closed a seven-round campaign under the Red Bull banner.
