Oliver Solberg and co-driver Elliott Edmondson won Rally Chile BIOBÍO for Toyota GAZOO Racing WRT, finishing 16.6 seconds ahead of teammate Sébastien Ogier with Adrien Fourmaux third for Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT.
How it was won
Solberg led for most of the three days on Biobío’s abrasive forest roads. Championship leader Elfyn Evans ran second into Sunday before a puncture on the penultimate stage cost more than two minutes and dropped him to fifth. Ogier inherited second; Fourmaux claimed the final podium step.
Solberg still pushed on the Wolf Power Stage to seal the win in 2:57:08.2. The result was his second WRC victory of 2026 and helped Toyota wrap a record-equalling 10th manufacturers’ championship (sixth straight) with rounds still remaining.
